Long Island Puppy Training- Basic Obedience
Our basic Long Island Puppy Training program has built relationships with our members and their new
puppies . Many puppy owners are duped by their puppy's first impression upon arrival to their home. The
puppy seems to be completely docile, you start to inform your family and friends what a good puppy you
received. Right? Wrong, for the most part anyway. Puppies in a way are like humans, people tend to step
forward with their best foot first. In your puppy's case, his or her best paw forward.
O.K. We are not saying that you have just acquired a puppy that will resemble the puppy from "Marley and
Me." We are advocated that you employ some training for your puppy. A puppy, like children, need to be
told what their boundaries and limitations are, they don't know any better. Once showed and understood
they learn how to find happiness inside of these guidelines. Civilization is what We call it.
Basic Puppy training in Long Island provided by Long Island's Dedicated Dog Training strives to ensure that
your puppy training needs are met. Our unique puppy training program affords the Long Island residence
the opportunity to work side by side with a professional Long Island Puppy Trainer. What does this mean,
this means that for approximately (6) lessons you will have a chance to ask all the questions you desire to
your puppy trainer. Our Long Island Puppy Training campaign does not only train your puppy, We are big
into teaching the pet owner. We explain what We are doing and why We are doing it. Our opinion of a good
puppy trainer is not only based on how well and fast they can train your puppy, but largely on how well they
are able to transfer their knowledge to you, the pet owner.
Our puppy training program is approximately (6) weekly lessons, that are (45) minutes in duration. At the
completion of this training program your puppy will be trained to perform the following command on leash:
Heel (walk nicely by your side) and sit when you stop, sit, down, place (go to your doggy bed on command),
come, leave it, and drop it. In addition, common puppy behaviors such as: jumping, nipping, counter-surfing,
going through the garbage, etc... Will be addressed.
Our basic obedience training clients receive life time support for their dog. For more information please use
